Algimantas Jonas Kuras

Born in 1940, Sakiai, Lithuania.
Painter.
1966 graduated from the LSSR State Art Institute with a degree in painting.
1967-1990 worked at the Vilnius Art Exhibition Hall.
1994-2005 taught at the Vilnius Academy of Arts.
Since 1968 participates in exhibitions.
Since 1989 member of group 24.
2003 Laureate of the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize.
The works are in Lithuanian and foreign museums and private collections.
