1974-1980 studied painting at the State Art Institute, Vilnius, Lithuania.
Participated in exhibitions since 1980.
Since 1993 member of the group of artists Angis.
1993-2005 taught at VDA Kaunas Art Institute.
He was awarded the BRD Lippe Region Scholarship 1991, the Austrian Ministry of Culture Scholarship 1992, the USA Pollock - Krasner Foundation Scholarship 1996.
There are paintings in museums and private collections.
