"Lithuanian painter Audrius Gražys emerges as one of the most productive and original visual artists of his generation. A painter of almost classical precision and discipline, he incorporates many elements of artistic expression with a masterful touch and at the same time a sensitive touch with reality. An abstractionist painter who always manages to achieve a delicate balance between logical, strict form and the mystery of human existence, Audrius Gražys seems to be an artist with many faces. We tend to think that an artist should be imbued with a single creative method or approach, but the fact is that the most interesting and mysterious artists often have a chameleon-like ability to break the rules of the game or simply destroy the illusion of their own predictability. This is especially true of Audrius Gražys...."
