Gabrielė Aleksė
Gabrielė Aleksė's work is distinguished by a distinctive line that reflects her ability to manipulate spatial images. In the artist's paintings, there are static compositions in which the harmony of architectural details, light and landscape play. Artistically using forms that are already present in nature and man-made forms and their silhouettes painted and highlighted in pastel colors, new, expressive spatial compositions are created. Changed forms and pictorial light solutions acquire a new life, idea and charm. With their help, the painter is able to lure the viewer into the world of her images, where frozen timeless spaces confront infinity, a kind of reference to the inner world of man.
