Rolandas Mociūnas

Born in 1964 in Šiauliai, Lithuania.
He studied at the University of Šiauliai and obtained a specialty in painting.
Creates pictures since 1991.
He rarely participates in exhibitions. Every six, seven years.

The artist's favorite subject is the urban landscape. While painting, he mainly focuses on the expression of mood in the picture. Sunny morning or approaching dusk, a flash of light through the clouds, or rain - he conveys all this in his works.

Still lifes are also often painted. These are flower bouquets, old things and dishes.
Marine landscapes are also popular. The artist is particularly impressed by the congested ports of European cities.
