The series of works began to be painted at the beginning of the first quarantine. Then I felt isolated from others having to meet myself. For some people, such separation from society can mean unbearable loneliness, and for others, on the contrary, turning to themselves and immersion in the peace within them. I have been to Vipassana’s camp of silence and meditation for 10 days, there I have managed to touch a peace that extends to an infinite horizon as immeasurable as the entire universe. The title of the cycle "Perspective is a point on the horizon" describes a person's search to look beyond the present world. The paintings depict timeless spaces frozen in a vacuum. The empty landscape of the cityscape becomes a confrontation with infinity and a kind of reference to the inner world of man. If you do not meet yourself, you think that you see the world through the window, and indeed the world is a picture on the wall of human consciousness housing.
