My paintings are combinations of individual fragments of reality, their compositional puzzles. I am interested in the surfaces and forms of the environment around us, the rhythm of the arrangement of seemingly insignificant objects or natural motifs or the surprises of grouping. These are both household items and ordinary people around us, and sometimes the simplest meadow or land, tree branches or the repetition of trunks in an alley.
With my paintings, I invite viewers to take a closer look at what is ordinary, what we usually don't even pay attention to. Sometimes the beauty of seemingly gray everyday life can be more eloquent than a colorful and sophisticated image.
It's good for me to stop for at least a short while, delve deeper and think about this beauty in the textures of reality, to feel its simplicity and peace.
