The cycle of works Powerful People delves into the relationship between physical and spiritual beginnings, tries to answer the question of what is the true strength of an individual, how it is affected by external forces, whether a strong physical body always determines the greatness of the spirit.

The characters of the cycle are hybrid creatures, two-faced creatures, the content of which features real people and fantastic animals. The works record their daily existence, mutual relations, subconscious world (dreams, fears, visions), well-being in the present and in the past; some works have hints of a fantastic past. The paintings combine reality and visionary environment, real and fictional world, grotesque and sadness, irony and comic elements, thanks to which metaphors of opposites of individual duality, restless mood, strength and powerlessness are found.

The idea of the paintings was dictated by the complex modern world and the threats to human existence. This theme reflects the artist's already formed creative style and new artistic impulses, after deciding to render his favorite hybrid beastmen in a different way - by bringing them closer to the viewer, observing them with the careful gaze of a researcher, giving them a more impulsive, sketchy, expressionist character.
