Painter, graphic designer.
Born in 1957 in Vilnius.
In 1981, he graduated from VDI, painting. He has been participating in exhibitions since 1982. Member of the Union of Lithuanian Artists since 1984.
Since 1995, he has been teaching at the National M.K.Ciurlionis School of Arts in Vilnius.
in 1995 represented Lithuanian art in Helsinki, Finland.
The artist has won awards at national and international exhibitions in the fields of painting, graphics and sculpture, received dozens of scholarships in Lithuania and abroad, participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, together with some of the most famous Lithuanian and expatriate artists such as M.K. Čiurlionius, Neemia Arbit Blatas, Jacques Lipchitz, Hjalmar Hansson , A. Zmuidzinavicius, P. Kalpokas, V. Vizgirda and others. classics and avant-gardist J. Mekas.
The artist's works have been acquired by domestic and foreign museums and collectors residing in Berlin/New York, Wolf and Maria von Moltke (Romanoff Foundation), the paintings are among the paintings of world-renowned artists such as Fernand Leger, Marcel Duchamp and Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, etc.
A. Pakalka's works decorate the Lithuanian Government Palace, rows of municipal buildings, companies, hotels and other public and private spaces.
