Since 1987 participates in exhibitions in: Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Canada, USA, Germany, Denmark, Australia, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Hungary, Finland, South Korea, Taiwan, China.

Awards: 1995 second prize "Purhase-Prize" (Faenza, Italy); in 1996 diploma of honor (second place) "Cup-96" (Belgrade, Serbia); in 1997 Sydney Mayor's Award Competition (Sheparton, Australia) Special Prize. in 1998 At the Faenza International Museum of Ceramics, Mr. Bergins' work participated in the exhibition "Da Fontana a Valentini ed oltre" with Pablo Picasso, Peter Voulkos and others. authors' works.

In 2005, the author was included in the educational list of artists of the University of Sonoma in the USA, which is used by the Faculty of Art History of the University of Michigan.

Thanks to his enthusiasm, such international events as the Baltic contemporary ceramics exhibition "Pavasaris" and the international ceramics symposium "Redukcija" were born.
