"What I create in calligraphy is very different from painting. There is more wind, movement and water.
Nature motifs are my favorite subjects of painting. As Maurice Merlau-Ponty says in the book "The Eye and the Spirit": "... I think that the painter must be penetrated by the universe, and not want to pierce it... What is called inspiration is perceptible to the writer: it is really the inhaling and exhaling of being, breath of being"
Sometimes I work quickly, "a la prima", similar to pouring wet watercolors. And sometimes I calculate very precisely and accurately. I would say: I painted to convey a message through symbolism, to capture the mood, to paint a concentrate of goodness."
