Liutauras Šutas
Born on 08 091961 in Kaunas. The author's teachers were artists Antanas Martinaitis, Alfonsas Vilpišauskas, Kęstutis Milkevičius, and sculptor Rimantas Šulskis.
The author became interested in assemblages while living in the USA, in New York in 1992, after seeing the works of the famous artist Louise Nevelson in this field of art. After returning to Kaunas a few years later, in 2003, he created his first assemblage.
Over the course of more than 10 years, more than fifty of them were created. The works created using the author's technique soon received appreciation from art collectors not only in Lithuania but also abroad. They went to private collections in the USA, Germany, Turkey, Austria, England, and Italy.
