For me, working with metal is primarily a search for textures and forms. And that search is ongoing - observing the surrounding world, moving around in everyday life, inspiring new impressions or getting to know new people. Sometimes ideas come spontaneously and spill out into sketches. Others require long puzzles, almost mosaics, countless attempts that do not leave me until I feel the completeness of the piece. I darken some pieces, and combine others with gold and stones. And others I make only from gold, because sometimes the shape of the work or the stone itself requires that.

While studying at the Kaunas School of Applied Arts, I also discovered my favorite technique - background filigree. However, I see it as a texture, as an element of the work, which only complements, but in no way completes the idea of ​​the work.
