Vytautas Kaunas
Born in 1958 in Lithuania.
In 1977 graduated from Kaunas S.Zukas Art College.
In 1989 graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts.
Member of Lithuanian Artists` Assosiation since 1999.
In 2002 -3nd Price International Painting Award “ Caterina de Medici” in Florenc (Italy).
In 2008 received Audience Award at the International Arts Competition “ Palm Art Award“ in Leipzig (Germany ).
Participates in exhibition since 1987. Has haal 40 solo exibitions.
The Paintings of Vytautas are authentic poetic Works. The emotions, experiences from the surroundings are abstracted and turned into ideological, artistic signs: human shapes decipher the themes of life, loneliness and perception, expectation and epiphany.
