Between the violet strokes and the thick blue, the silent dramaturgy of the journey unfolds. The everyday situation is transformed into an inner state. This is not a portrait, but a sign of mood. The expressive texture of the oil painting creates the impression of movement, solitude and temporary stop.
The cold tones dominating the composition are permeated with flashes of artificial light, which resemble fragments of the urban environment, briefly emerging from the bus window. Thick strokes model the form, convey emotional tension, as if the journey takes place between reality and memory.
